Terms of use
These terms apply to the website at https://mailsbyte.me and to disposable email addresses we issue. By creating an inbox or an account, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.
1. The service
MailsByte is a free, receive-only disposable email service. You can create a temporary address, receive messages such as sign-up codes, read them in the browser, and let the inbox expire. You cannot send mail from a MailsByte address.
Addresses are issued on mailsbyte.online and temp.mailsbyte.me. A guest inbox lasts 30 minutes. A signed-in free account may keep up to two active inboxes. We may refuse, limit, or delete an inbox or account to protect the service or other users.
A paid plan is not offered at this time. If we add one later, we will describe it here and in the product before anyone is charged.
2. Accounts and age
You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum digital-consent age in your country if that age is higher. An account is optional. If you create one, keep your password and API keys private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
3. Acceptable use
You may use MailsByte to receive verification messages, test software, or keep your main inbox off a sign-up form.
You may not:
- try to send spam, phishing, or bulk mail through this service
- attack, scan, or overload MailsByte or other systems
- upload or share child sexual abuse material, or any sexual content involving minors
- distribute malware or stolen credentials
- create traffic or click ads for the purpose of inflating advertising numbers
- use the service in a way that breaks the law
Report abuse to abuse@mailsbyte.me.
4. Advertising
The free website is supported by Google AdSense. Ads may appear on public pages and on the free inbox. We do not put ads inside the body of an email you received. We do not sell the contents of your inbox to advertisers.
You must not click ads as a way to generate revenue, including clicking your own ads. Invalid traffic can lead to account closure.
How advertising data is handled is explained in the privacy policy.
5. Developer API
Signed-in users may create API keys to read and manage inboxes in their own software. Keys are shown once when created. Treat a key like a password and revoke it if it leaks. The API is subject to fair-use rate limits. Creating an inbox through the API uses account credits; reading mail does not. Starter credits are granted with a new account.
6. Mail
Mail sent to a disposable address is stored so the holder of that inbox can read it. When the inbox timer ends, or when you delete the inbox, the messages are removed from the live service. We do not promise that every sender will deliver to a disposable domain.
7. Disclaimer
The service is provided as is. It is a convenience for short-lived mail, not a permanent archive and not a guarantee of anonymity. To the extent the law allows, Ajistudio is not liable for lost messages, blocked senders, downtime, or how you use an address.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. Continued use after that date means you accept the new terms.
